The Yukich Story
In 1929, when Nikola Yukich arrived in Western Australia, he planted more than vines — he planted the values of hard work, integrity, and family that continue to guide us today.
His son, Mark Yukich, carried forward that vision, dedicating his life to building on the foundations Nikola began. Mark’s work in the Swan Valley helped shape a family legacy deeply tied to the land, to wine, and to community.
When Mark passed the baton, his two sons, Graeme and Kim, stepped in to lead the family businesses. They grew and expanded the vision — honouring the past while preparing for the future.
Now, the next generation has joined the story. Kim and Graeme’s sons, Cameron and Troy, represent the fourth generation of Yukich family. And with Cameron welcoming a baby boy in September, the fifth generation of the Yukich family is already on its way.
Today, under the banner of Y Gourmet, the Yukich family’s journey continues — uniting everything we’ve created and preserved into one home for food, coffee, and wine. A story that began in 1929, and is still being written with each generation.
