At Y- Gourmet Coffee, we are evolving.

Over the past few months, we’ve taken a step back and asked a simple question

As part of this, we’ve made several important changes across our Coffee department.

These changes are driven by rising costs across freight, labour, equipment and raw materials. To continue delivering the level of service you expect, we are refining the way we operate.

Delivery

We’ve refined our delivery structure to ensure consistency, reliability and long term sustainability.

What’s changing

• Delivery schedules are now fixed based on your run
(Your account manager will work with you to ensure this fits your requiremnts)
• Minimum order quantities apply across all accounts
• Accounts ordering under 20kg per week will incur delivery charges

Why this is happening

The cost to deliver small volume orders has increased significantly. Fuel, labour and logistics cost increases mean we can no longer absorb these expenses at lower volumes.

What this means for you

• Accounts above 20kg per week continue to receive preferred delivery structure
• Smaller accounts will incur a delivery charge.

Coffee Technician Support

We are repositioning our service department to reflect the true value of technical support. Coffee equipment is critical to your business When it goes down, you need it fixed properly and fast

Support Structure
Your level of support is now aligned with your weekly coffee volume. Accounts Under 20kg per Week Technical support will now operate on a user pays basis

Includes
• Call outs
• Repairs
• Preventative maintenance
• Emergency breakdown support

Accounts Above 20kg per Week
Customers above 20kg per week will continue as per their current structure

Includes
• Ongoing support as per your existing agreement
• Continued access to our service team
• No change to your current servicing arrangement

Service Membership Program
We are introducing a Service Membership Program that can be added to your coffee supply. This is designed for customers who want certainty, priority and reduced risk.

Membership includes
• Priority response times
• Scheduled preventative maintenance
• Reduced call out costs
• Ongoing equipment support
• Improved uptime and consistency

The cost of maintaining a highly skilled technical team has increased significantly. This structure allows us to continue delivering fast, reliable support while giving customers flexibility in how they access the service.
